Last week, 40,000+ health IT professionals, clinicians, executives, vendors – and even an NFL Quarterback – converged in Las Vegas to talk technology, policy, innovation and interoperability – all in the interest of improving healthcare. The HIMSS Conference & Expo consistently provides the market and its leaders a showcase of the latest technology trends and solutions in healthcare IT – and FormFast was proud to be a part of the can’t-miss event once again.
We realize HIMSS is an unsurpassed opportunity to educate and inform the HIT decision makers about the cost, productivity and safety benefits a standardized electronic forms strategy can bring to a healthcare organization. The quality conversations our team had with attendees over the past week, confirm health systems today are actively searching for a better way to create and manage electronic forms. We enjoyed hearing from attendees, learning about their challenges and successes, and sharing with them the power of FormFast’s ability to replace slow, time-consuming tasks with high-performance, paperless workflow solutions.
As attendees made their way through the crowd and to booth #4849 (yes, the one with the cool car), they got the opportunity to discover why Fast Matters in healthcare. We chose the theme Fast Matters for HIMSS16, because we believe the speed of core processes is central to the agility of a healthcare organization. Health IT leaders are awakening to this in their search for innovative technology solutions that enable faster, more efficient processes that improve the clinician and patient experience –from the bedside and beyond.

Riding in FormFast Style
To start it off, many HIMSS attendees got the opportunity to ride to the conference in FormFast-fashioned bus down the Las Vegas strip.
What Everyone Was Talking About: The FormFast SUPERCAR
It was hard not to notice the FormFast-branded McLaren MP4-12C on the show floor of HIMSS. Attendees had the opportunity to take a picture behind the wheel and make their Twitter followers at home jealous by using the hashtags: #HIMSS16 #FastMatters #FormFast.
FormFast visitors were also entered for a chance to win the opportunity to drive the exotic supercar on a test track while enjoying a free vacation for two courtesy of FormFast!

Solution Premiere: We unveiled our Mobile Bedside Consent Solution in Vegas, to great interest from many attendees, who even after a successful EHR implementation finds informed consents to still be a paper-based process. Our Mobile Bedside Consent Solution empowers healthcare organizations to capture the appropriate consents at a patient’s bedside on a mobile tablet. Consent documents are instantly archived into the EHR, preventing lost documents, expediting care and ensuring compliance.
Innovation Station: Our Innovation Station allowed for attendees to be a part of the future of healthcare technology. The Innovation Station kiosk gave attendees a first-hand look at technologies currently in-development at FormFast and provide us with feedback on how these solutions could be used in their healthcare systems and what they are looking for in the future of health IT.
Demos: With our quick, self-guided iPad demos, attendees got a glimpse into the capabilities FormFast can bring to their healthcare organization – which included solutions for: registration, mobile bedside consents, electronic signature capture, human resources, clinical documentation and more.
Happy Hours: Because you can’t be in Vegas, and not enjoy yourself … from 4-6pm drinks were on FormFast! Visitors enjoyed an open bar and the opportunity to network and mingle with FormFast employees and other health IT professionals.
While HIMSS16 has come and gone, at FormFast, we believe what happens in Vegas …. doesn’t necessarily have to stay in Vegas, as we look forward to continuing the conversations started at the conference to help improve the efficiency and success of your healthcare organization!
